One of the best things about the film Hedwig and The Angry Inch was the way the music fitted in perfectly with the story. A little bit cheesy, a whole lotta fantastic and wonderfully sincere. And now i have the soundtrack on CD. Yay!
The music ranges from the viscious punk of Angry Inch and Exquisite Corpse to the tender, heart swelling Wicked Little Town via the sing-a-long bonanza of Wig In a Box and the genuinely moving mythological arena rock stylings of Origin Of Love. The lyrics are constantly intelligent, funny and emotional.
See the film. Fall in love. Buy the soundtrack. Buy a wig.

If you thought the sound track from a transvestite musical was not your thing, think again!!
This is great; very rocking in parts, with a sincere, sing-along quality throughout. I recomend it!
